About Us
Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Designed for Dogs Everywhere.
Meet Alex
Alex immigrated to the United States from Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1989 with a background in civil engineering and an eye for design. Over the years that followed, he channeled that precision into an unlikely creative career — crafting jewelry collections for Tiffany's and Arnold Palmer, two of the most recognized names in luxury goods. Later, he traded equities on Wall Street, where he developed the same discipline and attention to detail that would eventually define Zippy Dynamics.
But it was never really about suits or stocks or stones. It was always about the dogs.
When his Chinese Crested, Loki, and his poodle, Max, needed protection from New York's winters, Alex went looking for full-body suits that were functional, comfortable, and actually fit. He couldn't find them. So he did what engineers do — he solved the problem himself. What started as a custom solution for two dogs became a product line trusted by dog owners across North America.
Loki passed away tragically. Max lost his sight at a young age and underwent successful cataract surgery. Zippy Dynamics is, in many ways, their legacy.

The Story Behind the Brand
The Two Dogs Who Started It All
Zippy Dynamics was born out of love — and necessity. Alex's Chinese Crested, Loki, and his poodle, Max, were the inspiration behind everything. Loki passed away tragically. Max lost his sight at a very young age and underwent successful cataract surgery.
Through it all, Alex struggled to find full-body suits that were truly comfortable, functional, and stylish enough for the dogs he loved. So he built his own. What started as a personal solution became a product that dog owners across North America now rely on every day.
Loki and Max never got to see what they started — but every suit that ships from Zippy Dynamics carries a little piece of them. The adjustable fit, the thoughtful construction, the obsession with getting it right — all of it traces back to two dogs on the streets of New York City who deserved better than what was available. This brand is their legacy.
A New Chapter in the Zippy Dynamics Family
At the beginning of this year, we said goodbye to our beautiful black poodle, Max.
Max was much more than our beloved dog and family member. He was part of the inspiration behind Zippy Dynamics from the very beginning — our four-legged co-founder, model, product tester, and constant companion. So many of our ideas were inspired by our life with Max and by our desire to make dogs more comfortable, protected, and happy.
Losing him after more than 15 wonderful years together was an enormous and deeply painful loss. For a while, our home — and Zippy Dynamics — simply did not feel the same without him.
Recently, however, a new family member came into our lives.
Meet Cliff, our beautiful phantom-colored Moyen Poodle.
We found Cliff through BriarPatch Poodles LLC (https://www.briarpatchpoodles.com/) and its owner and founder, Megan. We are incredibly grateful to Megan for bringing this very special little guy into our lives and for being part of the beginning of this new chapter for our family.
Max will always be part of our family and part of the story of Zippy Dynamics. But Cliff is helping us begin a new chapter.
Our home has puppy energy again. There are toys on the floor, paws running through the house, new adventures, new challenges, and plenty of reasons to smile. Slowly, life is beginning to feel normal again.
And with Cliff has come something else we had been missing: new inspiration.
Just as Max inspired so much of what Zippy Dynamics became, Cliff is already giving us new ideas and a fresh perspective on the products we create for dogs and the people who love them.
Max will always be part of our foundation. Cliff is helping us write the next chapter.
Welcome to the Zippy Dynamics family, Cliff. ❤️

With these suits, even your dog will know you take fitness seriously. Dogs may not care what they wear while exercising, but that doesn't mean you don't have to. If your favorite fitness pal just happens to be your pup, then why not dress them up in their very own doggy jogging suit?

We've tried on a number of clothing products but we've never seen anything quite like this. This coat was made with all the bells and whistles needed for your dog to enjoy the outdoors no matter what time of the year. Zippy Dynamics, in my opinion, have made the only fully functional, stylish dog coat your dog will ever need.
